The event runs from 7pm-9pm, we recommend arriving promptly to ensure you have enough time to choose and then paint your item(s). The event will end at 9pm out of respect for our residential neighbours.
-
Refreshments: hot chocolate and a wide range of teas and coffees are available for purchase during your visit. If you are bringing "nibbles" they must be small snacks which will fit on the same table you will be seated at for your pottery painting activity, please do not bring sharing party platters. We recommend avoiding greasy snacks - any food substances which transfer from your fingers onto the pottery can have adverse effects on the glaze and ultimately the quality of your fired work. We cannot take responsibility for this.
-
Alcohol is permitted to be brought to the premises for adult consumption (adults deemed 21+). However, restrictions apply: eg. MAXIMUM per adult consumption: two glasses of wine/prosecco or one bottle of wine/prosecco between 2 or equivalent eg. two small bottles of beer per adult. This is a Health & Safety matter and also out of respect for other visitors and our residential neighbours. We can provide glasses if requested in advance.
-
Hands-on Art will only fire ceramic items purchased from the Hands-on Art Studio and painted with our glazes.
-
Your fired pottery will be ready for collection two weeks after your visit - the exact date will be written on your SumUp payment text message receipt at the end of your visit, before you leave the Studio. Please take a screen shot of this receipt. It is the responsibility of the group organiser to collect all items belonging to the group and distribute them to the group members.
-
We can only keep your items for a maximum of One Month after your visit, after which time we will assume you no longer want your items and will dispose of them for you.
-
Please present your receipt when collecting your fired pottery - this proves these items belong to you.
-
We quality check every fired item when it comes out of the kiln, before we pack it ready for you to collect. You are very welcome to unpack your pot(s) in the Studio before taking them home. Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs to your pot(s) once they have been taken from the Studio.
