Story Parties

These parties are recommended for children aged 2-4yrs

A list of stories and matching ceramic keepsakes to paint can be found at the bottom of this page.

Group size: minimum 5, maximum 10 (bearing in mind each child will be accompanied by one parent to help them with the activity, limited to one adult per child due to space restrictions and Health & Safety).

Activity length:
story + painting lasts up to 40mins, followed by juice & birthday cake only afterwards for 20 minutes*...
A dedicated member of the Hands-on Art team will present the story then guide the toddlers (and their grown-up) through the painting activity.

Activity costs:
This depends on your choice of ceramic keepsake to match your Story... please see all the choices at the bottom of the page...

*Party Tea:
In our experience children of this age are ready to move on to the next activity & location after one hour, which is why we recommend the 40 minute activity followed by juice & birthday cake only
However, there is the option to hire the activity tables for a half-hour party tea @£2pp... while the children are washing their hands & removing aprons, we will clear and re-set the activity tables for your party tea.  The £2pp cover charge includes: party tablecloths, napkins, plates, cups, cutlery; unlimited low-sugar squash; ceiling and window decorations.
Party Tea Food options: 'Nibbles', a local catering company would be delighted to organise individual picnic boxes for the children @£5pp.  Please click on this link for menu options.

Free Gift
for the birthday child if there are 10 or more guests: commemorative party plate, can be purchased @£14 if the party group is less than 10.
