Bridesmaids' Presents and Wedding Favours 

Decorate jewellery boxes for the bridesmaids, vases for the flowers, candlesticks for the tables, place settings... or commission us to paint them for you.


 




 
Children's Entertainment
Let us entertain your younger guests with a ceramics painting session at your wedding reception. While the speeches and toasts take place the children can get creative and have some fun of their own!
All our products are non-staining and the activity will result in the children having a lovely keepsake of your special day.

 
 Party Policy

Hen Party bookings are confirmed on receipt of a £12 per person deposit.
Deposits are non-refundable to cover cancellation and disbursement costs.  Non- receipt of a deposit can result in cancellation of the provisional booking.
 
There is a minimum spend of £12 per person.

All ceramic items are subject to availability unless pre-ordered and paid for on booking (14 days notice required to guarantee availability).

Balance payments are due no later than 14 days before the party if the items are pre-booked, otherwise the balance payment(s) are taken at the end pf the party.

Parties extending, or planned to take place, beyond our regular opening hours of 10am-5pm Tues-Sat are subject to a £30 per hour surcharge.  Minimum group size of 10 applies.  Groups falling below this number are required to pay for the difference @£12 per guest.

Booking Alterations: are subject to availability and require 14 days written notice.  Requests for alteration of date within 14 days is considered a cancellation and changes will constitute a new booking.  Deposits from parties cancelled within 14 days cannot be used towards the new booking. Guest number alterations - please see Cancellation policy below.

Cancellation: is required in writing from the original party organiser.  Written cancellation of the whole party within 14 days of the activity date will result in the loss if the booking deposit for the whole party. Written cancellation of the whole party received more than 14 days before the activity date will qualify for a refund of the deposit minus a £50 admin fee.  Individual guests no longer attending the party will lose their deposit. 		 
Terms & Conditions

^ all items referred to as sets eg. espresso set, plus the cake stand which is in two pieces, are sold as individual items and therefore painted by one person.

"Bubbles & Cupcakes" package @£8 per guest, must be paid for in full on booking, no later than 14 days before the party & subject to availability, this is non-refundable.
Refreshments: coffee, hot chocolate and a wide range of teas are available at a nominal price.  Food cannot be brought onto the premises as Hands-on Art is not a catering establishment.

Alcohol is permitted to be brought to the premises for adult consumption (adults deemed 21+). However, restrictions apply: eg. two glasses of wine or equivalent eg. one small bottle of beer per adult. £1 per guest corkage charge applies.  We can provide glasses if requested in advance.

Payments can be made in person at the studio or by card over the phone, during our opening hours Tues-Sat 10am-5pm tel. 01753 206 265; or by Bank Transfer to Hands-on Art Adventures  (details on request)

Your fired pottery will be ready for collection one week after your party date - it must be collected within three months of your party, regrettably we do not have space to store it beyond this point.
We quality check every item when it comes out of the kiln, before we pack it ready for you to collect.  You are very welcome to unpack your pottery in the Studio before taking it home.  Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs to your pottery items once they have been taken from the Studio.
