Cancellation Policy:

We require 5 students for the course to go ahead, this directly dictates any cancellation request as described below.

  1. If less than 5 students book onto an advertised course we reserve the right to cancel the course: the tutor will make the decision whether or not to run the course one month before the start date.  If the decision is made to cancel the course students will be offered the choice of: deferring to the next advertised course or, a full refund.  If the decision is made to run the course, the policy outlined below stands.
  2. Course Purchase payments made within one month of the course start date: cannot be returned or refunded unless the course is cancelled by Hands-on Art.
  3. Cancellation of booking up to one month before the course start date: if course attendance is cancelled by an individual, Hands-on Art Adventures will retain 25% of the course cost as cancellation fee because this will alter the number of students attending and therefore directly dictate whether the course runs or not - your place will have been advertised as taken on our website and, particularly when the course is advertised as fully booked, may have therefore prevented someone else from booking or even enquiring about a waiting list.  Group booking cancellation: Hands-on Art Adventures will retain 25% of the total group course cost as cancellation fee as per individual cancellations.
  4. Unattended classes within the purchased course: cannot be refunded as the class will have gone ahead as planned; cannot be transferred to another course or student.
  5. If Hands-on Art Adventures cancel a class within your course: you will be offered an alternative date- if you cannot attend the alternative date due to a prior engagement you will be offered a full refund for that class.
